Daimon Lab with Teatro Sotterraneo

Ancient Egyptians called it the Ka. Ancient Romans called it the Genius. Daimon is the word used by Plato, Hillman and Jung. Everybody must live with the Daimon residing inside himself. Vocation, character, talent. We are worth something if we fulfil ourselves, otherwise our life is wasted. This field of research, in which we are working this year, is the starting point for the workshop – which will comprise of training, exercises and improvisations, and be a space to share our methods for creating and producing theatre.

Florence-based performance collective Teatro Sotterraneo was founded in 2004. At BE 2012 they won the ACT Festival Prize and 1st Prize for Homo Ridens_Birmingham.
