BE NEXT is a youth theatre initiative giving young people from Birmingham the invaluable opportunity to learn and perform theatre and dance with guidance from professional arts practitioners who have performed at BE FESTIVAL in previous years. This year’s mentors are Michael Bell (UK) and Julia Schwarzbach (Austria), who have the task of honing the raw talent, energy and enthusiasm of a group of teenagers, through a week of rehearsals, leading to the show on Saturday night. The show will take place in The House during the interval, as part of BE FESTIVAL’s new site specific strand of work.
