Cinema Forum on Ojo Guareña with Edurne Rubio

Join film director Edurne Rubio in a conversation with cinema expert Ian Francis (Flatpack Festival) about her film, Ojo Guareña. The film follows a group of speleologists entering a gigantic cave in Spain, and explores how the themes it presents are of relevance in this current time of confinement.

Visual artist Edurne Rubio’s practice shifts between different contexts and formats: performances, films and sound, creating projects which portray situations where tension is built up between what we see and what we hear, between present, memory and imagination.

Ian Francis is a curator, writer and founding director of Flatpack Film Festival.

This discussion will take place via Zoom – a teleconferencing platform we are using for most of our live events. After the main presentation, participants will have the opportunity to direct questions to the panelists.
