A man and a woman negotiate a series of endings, rather than a single unfolding narrative leading to one inevitable finale. Manipulating movement parameters and playing with the myth of ‘the quest’ underlying the basic archetypical themes, a play of two emerges as a series of intermezzos to a story never told.
Zoi Dimitriou founded her London and Athens-based company in 2006. Its main focus is the exploration of contemporary artistic expression with dance being the principal medium. The company has toured to internationally-renowned venues and festivals and has won several major UK choreography awards, including the Robin Howard Foundation Award 2008, the Bonnie Bird Choreography Fund Award 2009 and the 2010 CfC Award.
