A table-top based puppetry workshop on bringing material to life. Beginning with breath and intrinsic movement, participants will work towards animating and improvising with Bunraku style articulated puppets in pairs, exploring and developing manipulation skills and technique, expression and play. No previous experience of operating puppets is required.

Liz trained in the 1980s at The Little Angel Marionette Theatre, London. As a founder member of internationally renowned Faulty Optic, Liz Walker toured work throughout the UK and from Indonesia to Venezuela, Canada and lots of places in between. She has worked as a puppet consultant and performer for companies such as the Royal Opera House and Rafi Peer Theatre in Karachi, Pakistan.
