Explore strategies drawn from the company’s experience of creating radical performance works across genres, cultures and languages. Focussed on practical, DIY approaches to developing text and creating material for both conventional theatre contexts and intimate one‐on‐one encounters, this session proposes a creative process as ‘a kind of making-out’.
Sleepwalk Collective is an award‐winning live‐art and experimental theatre group creating fragile, nocturnal performance experiences between the UK and Spain. Formed in London in 2006, the company currently live and work in Spain. Their show As The Flames Rose We Danced To The Sirens, The Sirens won both First Prize and Best Actress at BE FESTIVAL 2011.
