With political and environmental turmoil threatening human existence on the planet, how can we dream the best future for our world? Some would argue we have exhausted all current modes of thought and must we return to a childlike state of dreaming – free of inhibitions, untainted by imagined reason or ethics. Should this return to infancy be the foundations of a new future? Or will it all end in a giant meltdown?
Catalan company Ça Marche and a cast of children create a suspended moment on stage, where the parents are not ‘there’, or at least, they are not watching us. Amongst the improvised chaos, snow and giant blow up monsters, Silence explores the future of the world and coexistence with our ghosts.
