The Birmingham-based Kindle Theatre combine the format of a rock gig with a classic tale of revenge and murder to create a red-hot performance about female fury.
Plucking from the classical poetry of The Oresteia by Aeschylus and smashing it together with home-made rock, jazz and soul songs, the ‘theatre band’ create a brash and playful retelling of the epic Greek tale of Agamemnon and Clytaemnestra.
Told through the eyes of Clytaemnestra’s band of furies; hot, sexy, with a glint in their eye, this is the original tale of rage, revenge and envy.
