Following BE FESTIVAL Jury 1st Prize in 2012, ATRESBANDES were invited to a residency at mac Birmingham where they created this piece of charming and comical theatre.

Every step we take, we are struggling to reach paradise. Our paradise. An idyllic place where everyday problems disappear. This struggle is a journey and we often forget to look at the landscape along the way. Formed in Barcelona back in 2008, the Catalan company was set up by Mònica Almirall Batet, Miquel Segovia Garrell and Albert Pérez Hidalgo who are rapidly establishing a reputation as creators of sharp and perceptive work.
